Member of Compliance, Transaction Monitoring

Technical Skills:

• Conduct transaction monitoring reviews for potentially suspicious activity generated via the Bank’s automated transaction monitoring system, identifying, assessing and escalating potential money laundering and reputational risks associated with institutional clients
• Manage a queue of alerts, ensuring adherence to deadlines and performance expectations
• Stay informed and up-to-date on relevant policies, laws, and regulations, and apply them when performing responsibilities
• Maintain awareness of relevant financial crime trends and typologies, and apply that knowledge when performing alert reviews

Complexity and Impact of Work:

• Tackle problems of diverse scope that would require outreach to other departments within the Bank, or through research
• Participate in projects and initiatives as required
• Provide aid in enhancing internal processes and procedures, as required

Organizational Knowledge:

• Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, product oriented and dynamic environment

Communication and Influence:

• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals

You may be a fit for this role, if you have:

• 3-5 years of experience in AML/CFT transactional review and/or sanctions alert dispositioning for institutional clients
• Knowledge in AML/CFT and Sanctions regulations
• Expertise in using blockchain analytics tools to disposition transaction monitoring alerts, preferably at a Bank or regulated Exchange
• A passion for building out programs in their early stages, including creation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and new tools
• A proven track record of being able to work independently, yet still be team-oriented
• A strong attention to detail
• A high level of curiosity
• Ability to adapt to new changes and challenges
• Ability to prioritize demanding workflows, detail-oriented, and well organized

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

• You have expertise in data analytics and/or spreadsheet pivots/formulas for data analysis
• You find yourself utilizing block explorers in your personal or professional life

• Compensation Range: $91,570.00 - $117,000.00 - this salary range may be inclusive of multiple regional locations and job grades. This compensation range will be narrowed during the interview process based on skills, abilities, and experience required. ****We partner with third party firms annually to verify equity, cash, benefits, and perks benchmarks. For sales and business development roles, the range provided is the On Target Earnings (“OTE”) which is inclusive of base salary + sales commissions/bonuses targets for the position.
