Job Description

Playground Labs is seeking a Partnerships and Business Development Associate to work closely with the Head of Partnerships and the Kapital DAO to support execution of the Kapital DAO’s go-to-market strategy. Those who are excited about web3 and metaverse opportunities (including web3 gaming), and possess a desire to contribute to a smart, nimble team are encouraged to apply. Those who are experienced with relationship management, strategic planning, and writing will excel in this role.

Playground Labs' Partnerships and Business Development Associates will primarily support pipeline management and execution of partnerships with web3 games, organizations, and ecosystem partners, and may also support the Head of Partnerships with content writing and strategy.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and build inbound and outbound partnership pipeline and monitor current status of deals
• Support the Head of Partnerships and the Kapital DAO in partnership conversations
• Lead and close partnership discussions
• Contribute to writing content pieces such as thought pieces, technical documentation, social media posts, and press releases
• Contribute to strategy discussions and assist in the execution of other go-to-market strategic initiatives
• Support the Head of Partnerships and the Kapital DAO in operational elements and processes directly pertinent to execution of go-to-market strategy

Required

• Fluency in business-level English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Comfort with leveraging our existing community members to support execution
• Strong listening skills and a drive to understand partners’ needs
• Honesty and integrity are a must
• Initiative and bias for self-motivation, early action, on-time delivery, and overall operational excellence
• Intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset

Preferred

• 1-2 years of internship or professional experience in a business-facing role, such as consulting, banking, investing, and sales
• Previous writing experience and / or portfolio
• Experience with the technical elements of web3 and gaming
