UI/UX Designer

Playground Labs is seeking a UX/UI Designer to work closely with the product/engineering team on bringing to life the next generation of web3 products. UI/UX Designers who are experienced with extensive user research, design system management, rapid prototyping, and writing detailed specifications for engineering handoffs are encouraged to apply. Those who are excited about web3 and metaverse opportunities (including web3 gaming), and possess a desire to contribute to a smart, nimble team will excel in this role.

Playground Labs' UI/UX Designers will design front-end applications for our web3 products.

Job Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and leverage scalable design systems to rapidly generate interactive product prototypes and design files for user-testing and engineering implementation
• Structure and direct other contributors to conduct regular user research and feedback interviews, leveraging our extensive communities
• Design both quick sketches as well as high-fidelity product designs with complete detailed specifications, with a keen eye towards engineering requirements
• Develop systems to monitor user behaviors and product usability, with an eye towards data-informed recommendations
• Develop user personas, empathy maps, and journey maps, and regularly share your insights to inform our current product roadmap

Required

• Three years of experience as a designer
• Experience building products with involved user interactions
• Fluent in Figma or Adobe XD
• Initiative and bias for early action, on-time delivery, and overall operational excellence

Preferred

• Experience design Prodcuts in Crypto, Web3, or Video Games

Compensation

• UI/UX Designer compensation at Playground Labs consists of a competitive salary package in the range of $50k – $100k, alongside awarded tokens for the projects in which they participate. The actual base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, relevant certifications, skills, and geographic location.
