Full Stack Developer

Credible is a new Fintech player specializing in Credit-as-a-Service (“CaaS”), targeting partners who serve the SME banking and lending segment within the UAE. We tackle the difficulty most local SMEs face when seeking credit by removing the barriers that traditional lenders have in place. We want to make accessing credit simple,transparent, digital, and friction free for those who need it most, local SMEs. Credible is also backed by a newly launched investment fund from the region, ensuring an unfair advantage from day one.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the backend engineers to develop user-facing web applications
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Translate business requirements/ user stories and amazing product features
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers and Designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our products
• Ensure quality through close collaboration with your team on code reviews, unit tests, and instrumentation tests
• Enable other engineers across the company to work more efficiently and productively by sharing best practices, and developing internal tools
• Identify areas of improvement and advocate for best practices across your team
• Refine technical standards and propagate them into the software engineering teams

About you:

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on web applications
• Extensive experience with ReactJS
• Strong Typescript and javascript expertise
• Significant understanding of charting libraries and data grids, Webpack, Karma, Jasmin, Detox, NPM, Yarn
• Well-versed in frontend implementation patterns
• Hands-on experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong eye for UI design
• Ideally exposed to the Fintech domain
• Strong problem-solving and data visualization ability
• High attention to detail
• Thrives in an early-stage startup setting
• Self-starter and can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience in GraphQL
• Experience in building mobile applications with React Native
• Previous experience working outside of the traditional boundaries of a frontend engineering role and find ideal solutions for UX, operations, speed of delivery and security
• Good understanding of charting libraries and data grids, Webpack, Karma, Jasmin, Detox, NPM and, Yarn.
