We’re now looking to add a Quantitative Trading Intern to our team to assist our traders in monitoring and supervising operations related to all trading activities, flows of assets, treasury and risk management. You will receive hands-on training from senior members of our trading team and learn how to manage, supervise and track all Keyrock’s trading algorithms. You will gain a thorough understanding of Keyrock’s activities and of the global digital asset market more broadly.
The internship is paid (829.10 EUR/month) and is expected to run for 6 months, from April-October 2022.
NB this position can be remote or based in our Brussels office, but candidates must be in a time zone within 2 hours of Brussels in either direction.
What you will be doing
Supporting the deployment of new algorithms, clients and markets
Keeping a global updated view of all algorithmic trading operations
Financial monitoring of alerts
Assisting with active trading
Assisting with trade execution
Preventive actions by spread adaptations
Helping to keep track of the treasury
Helping to keep track of and report technical and financial problems and provide feedback to the dev team for improvement.
Skills and experience
Able to act and to take decisions under pressure
Digital native
Understanding of/interest in digital assets and blockchain technologies
Understanding of/interest in financial market structure
Strong attention to detail
Good communicator
The ability to take ownership of a project while collaborating on it with colleagues
A passion for Blockchain/DLT and digital assets
A passion for financial markets and asset management in general
Proficient English speaking
Previous experience in trading (stocks, equities, cryptocurrencies etc.) is an asset (this doesn’t have to be professional experience - we’re also interested in talking to people who currently trade as a hobby).
