Chief Human Resources Officer

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic objectives and goals of the organization. CHRO is also responsible for integrating HR policies in the organisation, championing the people culture, and developing a positive employer brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision
• Develop, interpret and implement policies and procedures to further the company's goals and operational objectives with a data-driven mindset
• Implement and iterate on HR systems and processes to support a rapidly growing workforce globally
• Develop comprehensive recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of our high growth global organization.
• Recruit, manage, coach, and develop direct reports as well as provide daily leadership to HR and Recruiting team globally
• Lead all people experience programs in areas such as benefits, compensation, diversity, inclusion, disciplinary, grievance, health and safety, performance management and talent management
• Work closely with the leadership team to continuously evolve our people experience by optimizing internal events, onboarding, training, communication, feedback mechanisms, and individual interactions
• Support employees with excellent benefits, strong performance & compensation policy, employee relations and empathetic engagement
• Set and implement a strategy for global diversity and inclusion efforts
• Serve as a strategic business partner to the senior leadership team

Education Qualification and Experience

• A BSc/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MSc in human resources, strategic management or related field preferred
• A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience and at least five years of international HR experience
• SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred
• Deep knowledge of legal HR compliance and labour laws
• Strategic understanding of matters such as employee happiness, performance, hiring, culture transformation, and organizational development, and employer branding
• Experience building processes for a workforce of over 500-1000+ employees
• Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Working knowledge of HR software such as Greenhouse, Cultureamp, etc.
